“I’m really proud of competing in Fanal. The atmosphere between all participants was great and the landscapes of this centenary forest make it look like it’s come from a dream. I was not expecting to beat the record but I’m very proud of having achieved it. I was in a good state of mind at the start line and this resulted in a good performance! Above all I’m really happy for the all the care i got from the people of Madeira, and that’s a reason that makes me want to come back and be even faster! All VK’s are always 1000m of elevation but all of them are also different, and the Fanal VK is a truly special one!”
